Special Offers for Michigan Libraries


On October 31, 2011, the MeL Databases subscription to NewsBank Michigan Newspapers will expire, and Michigan libraries will no longer have free MeL access to Detroit News, Grand Rapids Press, and Traverse City Record-Eagle. For Michigan libraries wishing to continue access after October 31, NewsBank is offering the following discounted subscriptions through MCLS. Subscriptions will run January–December 2012, but libraries committing now will receive free access for November–December 2011. Please contact us at services@mcls.org and specify the newspaper title(s) or academic collection(s) you're interested in.
